For close to mid-range engagements, it really is an absolute powerhouse, and should be kept in your inventory until the very end of the game. The Hellfire is definitely a little OP at the moment, so will likely be tweaked in a future update. In the meantime though, make the most of it, because you can bet everyone else in the game will be.
Shotguns H1Z1 PS4 Shotguns Shotguns area great option for close-range combat and can gain you the upper hand at the start of the game when looting through buildings. There are currently two shotguns in the game, the Riot Shotgun and the Combat Shotgun. Both are great choices, but the Combat Shotgun just about wins out here. The Riot Shotgun does more damage, but is a pump-action affair, while the Combat Shotgun does less damage per shot but fires in a fully-automatic pattern.

It’s this high rate of fire that makes the Combat Shotgun the best option for those looking to use a shotgun, though those used to the PC version of H1Z1 should be aware that they aren’t nearly as powerful as they are on PC. Assault Rifles H1Z1 PS4 Assault Rifles Assault Rifles are easily the best weapons in H1Z1 PS4. They are only found in supply drops, and include the AR-15, AK-47, Marauder, Scout Rifle and the KH-43. Only the AR-15 and AK-47 assault rifles are available from level one supply drops, so aim to pick up the AR-15 early on as it is a great all-round weapon, with fairly low recoil and a holographic scope. Once you start progressing in the match though there’s no question that the KH-43 is the way to go. It’s arguably the best gun in the game, with low recoil and a great feel while shooting.

Prioritize finding the KH-43, as it will give you a huge edge over the competition. The Marauder comes in at a close second though, with a three-round burst firing pattern which is useful for doing high damage with a single shot. Sniper Rifle H1Z1 PS4 Snipers The M40 Sniper Rifle is one of the best weapons in the game and should absolutely be part of your endgame loadout. It’s a one-shot kill to the head and a two-shot kill with body shots. It does have pretty significant bullet drop though, so you will have to compensate and aim slightly above an enemy’s head. The M40 is found in purple supply drops, and is a great weapon for anyone looking to gain an advantage at long-range. Crossbow H1Z1 PS4 Crossbow Next up, we have the Crossbow.
It’s a surprisingly capable weapon which can fire explosive bolts perfect for doing vehicle damage. A direct hit will do around 90 damage to an enemy, making it a great option early on. It can be picked up from the very start of each match, but is definitely rarer than the Riot Shotgun and Hellfire. LMG H1Z1 PS4 LMG Finally, there’s the MK46 LMG. This gun isn’t really a great option for killing enemies with, but is great for destroying vehicles. It’s high recoil makes it difficult to use, but is handy for the later phases of a match where everyone is driving around trying to run each other over.
What is the Best Loadout in H1Z1 PS4? Now that we’ve given you an idea as to what the best guns in H1Z1 PS4 are for each class, let’s the a look at the ideal H1Z1 PS4 loadout. While playing a match, you want to try to aim for a loadout consisting of a KH-43, M-40 Sniper Rifle, Hellfire SMG, and Crossbow.
