An electrician isn’t required to fit a fused spur electrical socket under the kitchen sink. The benefit of being non-electric is that there are no electrical PCB boards to go wrong, no time clocks to adjust when the clocks change or a power cuts occurs. No complicated programming is required, and best of all, when you are away from home, the softener will simply sleep until you are next back in the home, saving you salt and water.
